It's here! CSR S1 2022 – Gods Unchained

If you are one of the regulars of GU Masters, you will surely remember that last January we dedicated an article to the Core Set Refresh, a Review of the Core Set which is not limited to the redesign of some of the existing cards, but also adds new cards.

Today the final list of changes has been made public and in a few hours they will be implemented, so that The meta will be completely transformed . We can safely say that we are going to find a very different game from the one we have known so far.

The Core Set Refresh is not going to leave anyone indifferent

First of all, it is fair and necessary to rescue the previous entry dedicated to the Core Set Refresh ( "CSR S1 2022 – Gods Unchained" ), since the Key findings They remain: most of the neutral cards are no longer neutral, tribal energies are boosted, and many of the lesser-used cards have been modified to make them more playable.

If that's not enough, in the original Gods Unchained blog post, you'll find three pdf documents with the new cards, redesigned cards, and the complete collection: "Core Set Refresh: All Cards" . I have to say that, from my point of view, such an important change would have deserved a proper presentation , so from here I want to give a slap on the wrist to those responsible for this (and thank community members like Soleone for their efforts for the benefit of all).

To conclude...

What changes do you find most striking? What are your favorite Core Set cards? What repercussions do you think all this will have? The truth is that they are Unknowns that we should not overlook and that we will be able to clear as time goes by.

1. The reinforcement for the Competitiveness of F2P players It's going to be formidable.
2. New tribes they will be strong in goal.
3. The Power creep is significant (and that will have an impact on the relevance of the Welcome Set and other expansions).
4. The Fight to get the new cards as soon as possible it will be fierce and its demand will be very high.
5. Some cards will need to be modified , as they will prove problematic.

In short, we are going to have to adapting to the new meta that will emerge from this "tsunami". The fundamental thing is to enjoy all this, don't you think?
