Your voice is the protagonist: GU Masters presents "The Great Forum"

It seems like yesterday, but GU Masters already has some way to go since its presentation to society back in November 2021. A lot has happened during this time, as is normal, and if this project goes ahead it is because it has A Formidable Community that gives it meaning.

I'm JFA, the creator of GU Masters, and I've been launching initiatives that complement each other, always hand in hand with all of you who, like you, feel part of this group: from the launch of this website to the live broadcasts, through the Discord server or the face-to-face meetings of Gods Unchained fans ( The Conclave ). Today I'm thrilled to announce a new "experiment": "The Grand Forum" of GU Masters .

I'll summarize it very quickly: if The Conclave is where we meet physically, The Great Forum is called to become the space for digital debate for the GU Masters community; in it, Your voice will be the protagonist .

What is "The Great Forum"? How is it going to work?

The Grand Forum aims to become a regular meetup that we will hold on a voice channel on the GU Masters Discord server. The goal is easy to explain: analyze and discuss in depth a decisive issue for the present and future of Gods Unchained.

In each call we will focus on one main point , ensuring a productive and focused discussion: from the state of the current meta or the direction of the game economy, to the development of new game formats or the projections that Immutable should consider.

Participation

This is an initiative open to anyone who feels part of GU Masters. All perspectives are welcome , from that of a newcomer to that of a battle-hardened veteran, always with a constructive approach.

Duration

To ensure that the discussion is concise and high-impact, each session will have a Estimated duration of 40 minutes .

Frequency

This is TBD , depending on the interest generated by this initiative. It would be possible to propose a calendar, with a schedule of proposed dates and topics, but perhaps it is advisable, at least during the initial phases of this idea, to have a flexible approach; in this way it will be easier to adapt to the current situation of Gods Unchained.

How to stay in the loop

The date, time, and of course, the main topic of the session, will be announced on the server when applicable.

Other relevant issues

If you're wondering How topics will be chosen , the answer is simple: any member of the community will be able to propose a topic on Discord and priority will be given to those that arouse the most interest.

Clarifications Additional:

• GU Masters is primarily aimed at the Spanish-speaking community; consequently The lingua franca in this event will be Spanish .
• If you want to participate in The Grand Forum, you will have to Attend live . There are no plans to record and disseminate its sessions later.

Code of Conduct

For The Grand Forum to be a space for productive, constructive debate and mutual respect, there must be some Basic rules . Remember that we come to forge ideas, not to sow chaos; So, here are some guidelines to regulate conversions:

1. Focus on the proposed topic: A priori, I will be in charge of both making a brief introduction to the topic, although this could also be done by the member of the community who has proposed it, and moderating and guiding the discussion so that it focuses on the main topic. Questions outside this framework will only be addressed at the end of the session, if possible in the time allotted, or will be addressed through other channels.
2. Respect the turn: In a high-level debate, patience is a must. Don't interrupt other participants and remember that any criticism should be directed at an idea or strategy being exposed, never at a person. Always adhere to the moderation policy provided.
3. Substantiate and be precise: We only have 40 minutes to address the proposed issue. Express your point of view clearly, concisely and rigorously, trying to base yourself on concrete data and your own experience. Try to make your contributions have a constructive and positive approach.
4. Open your mind: We are here to debate, which implies that there will be disagreement. It's important that we have the ability to appreciate differences of opinion, as that diversity is essential to get a broad perspective on the Gods Unchained universe.
