If you are a loyal follower of GU Masters you surely already know that Immutable Passport is now the default system for logging in to Gods Unchained . I'm JFA, the driving force behind GU Masters, and I'm happy to share with you my feelings about this breakthrough.

What is Immutable Passport?

According to the Immutable team, its "Passport" is the next generation of web3 wallets, combining industry-standard login methods with web3 features such as digital asset management. Immutable Passport becomes a universal gamer profile , a secure identity that gives access to all the games and e-marketplaces powered by Immutable so that your assets, funds and achievements are always with you. It allows you to log into one Immutable game and enjoy the next one without the hassle of switching accounts.

The raison d'être of Immutable Passport is to facilitate as much as possible the Onboarding of gamers who are unfamiliar with the Web3 universe . And this is very important, don't you think?

What does Immutable Passport bring to the Gods Unchained ecosystem?

In the case of GU, we are facing the first phase of implementation. This means that, for the time being, Immutable Passport will be used to log in , but not as a default wallet. As soon as you try to log in again you will have to use Immutable Passport .

You can currently log in using a Apple account, Google account, or email . Let's look at each of these scenarios.

Google Account

Step by step:

1. Click the "Continue to Passport" button to start the login process. A page will open in your browser to select your access method and select Google.
2. Select your Gmail account and sign in. You're successfully signed in to the Immutable Passport with your Google Account and you'll see the confirmation page.

Apple ID

Step by step:

1. Click the "Continue to Passport" button to start the login process. A page will open in your browser to select your access method and select AppleID using the Apple button.
2. Enter your AppleID account email and password, then click the arrow button to confirm.
3. On the next page, click 'Continue' to confirm the login.
4. Choose whether you want to share or hide your email and click the 'Continue' button.
5. You're successfully signed in with your AppleID account and you'll see the confirmation page.

One-time password via associated email account

Step by step:

1. Click the "Continue to Passport" button to start the login process. A page will open in your browser to select your access method, enter your email and click on the arrow button to continue.
2. Enter the confirmation code you received in your email.
3. You have successfully logged in to the Immutable Passport with your email address and you will see the confirmation page.

In conclusion...

The integration of Immutable Passport into Gods Unchained is a Big step forward to facilitate the incorporation of new players, especially thinking about their ease of use, synergies with other games in the ecosystem and the future projection of the mobile ecosystem.
