$GODS now available on Coinbase

On December 8 Coinbase announced that both $GODS, the fungible token of Gods Unchained, and $IMX, the fungible token of Immutable X, would be available on Coinbase Pro the exchange exclusive to professionals. The truth is that in less than 48 hours these two cryptocurrencies became available on Coinbase , as the available liquidity was enough to reach this milestone (by the way, if you want to know more about the differences between Coinbase Pro and Coinbase I recommend reading this article by Scott Knudsen for Cove Markets: "Why You Should Buy Bitcoin on Coinbase Pro and not Coinbase" ).

These two tokens minted by Immutable were already present in other exchanges , such as OKEx and FTX, as well as on the exchange SushiSwap is decentralized, but its arrival at Coinbase marks, in my opinion, a before and after . At the time of writing this article it is possible to trade with $GODS in the exchanges which occupy, respectively, second and third place in the world rankings by trading volume (Coinbase and FTX) and that implies that it will not take too long to also land in the first (Binance).

Why is this important? Fundamentally for two reasons :

• First of all, because it is a boost to these two cryptocurrencies. The fact that they can be traded on major exchanges makes them available to countless investors who would otherwise probably not consider them. • Secondly, because opens the door to solutions being enabled in the future to make direct transfers between IMX and one or more of them exchanges , dispensing with intermediate sending and withdrawing operations to wallets such as MetaMask, or even the possibility of carrying out strike in different locations. There are no dates for this yet, but the first step has already been taken... hopefully we'll see something like that soon, as it would be another historic moment for Gods Unchained and Immutable.
