We have a new (mini)expansion in the pipeline! On February 5, 2025, the Gods Unchained team announced the arrival of Fallen Age , which is accompanied by other important news. Want to know more? I'm JFA, promoter of GU Masters, and I'll tell you all about it below.
What does Fallen Age bring to the Gods Unchained universe?
This expansion is contextualized in a devastated Faenar after the retreat of Thaeriel and the Dread . The faith of the mortals who populate Eucos has weakened, and all Dominions have been affected to a greater or lesser extent. Is there room for hope? Of course! “A new journey awaits. A path shaping every mortal’s destiny. Are you ready to rise above?” .
In practical terms, this translates into 56 new cards collectibles, including 7 Legendaries with their 7 corresponding Mythic Variants. This time there are no cosmetic items linked to the expansion, as they are part of the first season of the Gods Unchained Battle Pass. All of the cards in Fallen Age can be viewed in the buying guide (you'll find it a little later).
In addition, it introduces Two new mechanics In the game:
- Wither .- The letters with Wither are destroyed ( obliterate ) at the end of the turn if they are still in the player's hand ( “Cards with the keyword Wither are obliterated at the end of the turn if they’re in your hand” ). Sample Letters with Wither : Withering Draught, Gerhardt, Shadow Ranger.
- Raid .- Activates once per turn after a second card is played ( “After you play your second card during your turn, activate Raid” ). Examples of cards with Raid: Exile Chief, Kinetic Vespid.
What are some ways to get Fallen Age packs?
Booster packs for this expansion can be obtained from Three Ways :
- Buying them .
- Using Premium Gameplay Sealed .
- Through two of the Gods Unchained Battle Pass modes ( Premium and Shiny ).
Some Mythic Variants are unique to certain pack types . For example, "Scrappy, Wasteland Hydra" and "Dragonshard Plate" are only found in Shiny packs, while "Cressida, The Anomalous" and "Dro, Ruin Rider" are exclusive to the 7-win reward packs in Sealed .
The Fallen Age Packs will not be part of the Weekend Ranked rewards .
What are the envelopes like?
The Envelopes that will be on sale they are of three types: Booster ($1.99), Premium ($19.99), and Shiny ($199.99). Shiny packs multiply the chance of getting a Mythic Variant by 125. The minimum quality of the cards contained in Shiny Packs is Shadow.
As for the Exclusive Sealed Game Mode Reward Packs , will only contain Meteorite quality cards.
The characteristics of the envelopes that will be generated via Battle Pass They haven't been revealed yet, but with Shiny Mode you can get a Shiny Pack (if you want to find out more about Season I of the Battle Pass, you can do so here: "Gods Unchained unveils its Battle Pass" ).

How long will it be available?
It will be available during 28 days (4 weeks from February 18, 2025) or until the packs are sold out. This applies to both purchasable packs and booster packs that can be obtained as rewards in Sealed or through the Battle Pass.
Divine Tithings? What is that?
Just like the Dread Points from the mini-expansion Tower of Dread , the mechanics of "divine tithes" will allow you to benefit from a discount , which can go up to a maximum of 35%, when buying Fallen Age packs.
The way to get points is to destroy expansion cards . It should be noted that these points will expire once the Fallen Age packs are no longer available for sale. The discount can only be applied once, so the most efficient way to take advantage of it is to destroy the cards to get the maximum discount and apply it to a single purchase.
