I'm a JFA of GU Masters and I'm thrilled to share with you this exclusive interview with the creators of a valuable tool for most Gods Unchained fans : GuTrader.
Have you ever wished Know when a card is available for purchase ? Moreover, have you ever dreamed of being notified if that letter goes up or down from a certain asking price? Then you may have found a solution, read on to learn everything you need to know about this.
Q.- Tell us a little about your career... who are you, where are you, what do you do?
A.- We are two software developers who live in the hills of Tuscany. We both currently work in the IT sector.
Q.- How and when did you discover Gods Unchained? Did you have any experience in trading card games or Play and Earn?
A.- We discovered Gods Unchained in September 2020. What motivated us to play was the possibility of having our cards as NFTs.
Although the market was virtually non-existent at the time due to Ethereum's high fees, we found the idea so successful that it convinced us to stick with Gods Unchained. With the release of Immutable X, our patience has been rewarded and we can now enjoy a complete gaming experience that doesn't just stay in the game, but extends to buying and selling cards, just like in the real world.
Q.- Before the launch of the GuTrader app, a Telegram bot with a similar approach and characteristics was launched. That's how I discovered you. Why did you decide to go further and develop a mobile application?
A.- We wanted to improve the user experience when using our functionalities. Navigating the cards using filters or adding graphs on the market trend of Gods Unchained are examples of features that we could not implement with the Telegram bot.
Q.- What devices are compatible with GuTrader?
A.- Any mobile device with Android 6 or higher.
Q.- Why should Gods Unchained players use GuTrader? How can it benefit them? In a nutshell, what is GuTrader's value proposition?
A.- The purpose of GuTrader is to keep users constantly updated on the price of Gods Unchained cards. We consider this feature to be essential in any game that integrates the use of NFTs, and we wanted to be the first to do so in Gods unchained. Users will no longer have to check the market manually, but will receive a simple notification on their phone. It is also possible to set price limits above and/or below which they will not receive notifications, so that they are only notified when the price reaches the target value.
This can be useful for new players to optimize their spending and for experienced players who buy and sell and always want to keep an eye on the price of their cards. Finally, it can also be useful for collectors. Let's say you want a diamond-quality card that isn't available on the market yet. Just add it to the app's watchlist and you'll be immediately notified when it goes on sale.
It is important to note that since recently it is also possible to interact with Inmutable X from the mobile, we have implemented a button that leads directly to the TokenTrove website to simplify the purchase of the menu for the user.
Q.- Security is important, what measures are you taking to keep GuTrader users safe?
A.- The app does not collect any sensitive user data. Even when buying a card, everything is managed directly by TokenTrove.
Q.- Developing and maintaining an app requires a lot of resources, is GuTrader free? Do you have any plans to monetize it?
A.- GuTrader is free and we have no plans to create a paid version at this time. We want to monetize by leaning on TokenTrove and its referral program.
Q.- Let's talk a little about the future... where do you see Gods Unchained in 3 years? What are some of your plans for the future?
A.- As for the future, we are totally optimistic. Gods Unchained is set to become one of the go-to trading card games of the next decade, the introduction of NFTs is a revolutionary move that benefits players. We just have to wait for everyone to start noticing 😉
In the meantime, we'll continue to improve our product while listening to community feedback. Certainly, releasing an iOS version is something we're working on.
Q.- Who would you like to see interviewed at GU Masters?
A.- Mr. Xialong is a streamer we are collaborating with and it would be very interesting to hear his opinion about the game. The team behind GU Tools is also doing a great job and it would be nice to get to know them better.
