Cards belonging to the Gods Unchained Tides of Fate expansion are immutable as of December 20, 2023. This means that players can already add these cards to their collection with the certainty that they will not undergo transformations. I invite you to discover the most attractive ones (that is, what are the Best Band of the Wolf Cards ) and I'll tell you in advance because in this expansion the Legendary rarity cards live up to their name and are very powerful cards.
I'm JFA, from GU Masters, and I'm thrilled to share my personal selection with you. In it You will find a "Top Three" for each god , always accompanied by some suggestions for more.
What criteria does it make sense to apply to determine which cards are better?
Good question. The criteria To consider when preparing a selection of this nature are diverse, but I highlight some of the main ones below:
- Is it really Powerful ? Ultimately, this is what makes the difference.
- ¿Is versatile ? That is, can you incorporate it into decks of different archetypes?
- To what extent is it unique ? Is it difficult to find a replacement?
- ¿Is efficient ? For this, the most common thing is to take into consideration the quotient between its cost in manna and its statistical value.
- What is the potential for them to emerge Synergies with cards from other expansions?
- Etc.
Finally, we cannot ignore, as is evident, personal bias (in this case, mine, obviously). We all have our preferences and that is why it is virtually impossible for two different players to share 100% of the choices of a list of this type. Of course, you can be sure that The cards that you will find below are a good option .
Top three Tides of Fate cards for each god
If you find this list as useful as I hope, remember that you can support GU Masters by purchasing your cards through the links included in this article (During the 24 hours following your click, a small commission is generated for the purchases made, which, as is obvious, has no cost for you). Without further ado, let's get started.
Top three Neutral cards in Tides of Fate
As you know, neutral cards have the virtue that can be played on any domain , since they are not ascribed to any particular god. In line with the Lore , this expansion introduces two important cards to the game both for their tribal synergies and for their ability to energize the game. Let's look at them.

Glinn, Lord of the Sky Glinn is a five-cost Dragon with 5/5 stats and a powerful Roar effect: stealing two dragons from your deck. Here's a valuable Legendary card for any deck that includes creatures from this tribe.
Zaskia, Drowned in Dread With 6/2 stats and Protected, Zaskia is a very useful Legendary Atlantean if your deck contains cards with Manasurge. Why? Because when its Afterlife effect is activated you will steal two of them. And all of the above for only five mana, who gives more?
Abyss Watcher .-Letter Tech that can mark a before and after in a game. A creature with 3/5 stats and Frontline, it enjoys the tribal synergies of the Atlanteans, and it has a Battlecry that can decide any game in which your opponent depends on the Void, as it allows you to apply Obliterate to four of their cards in that space.
More powerful neutral cards in the right decks: Atlant Regulator; Pirate Bully; Azaiah, Hands of the Spire.
Top three Death cards in Tides of Fate
This expansion puts the spotlight on a new archetype sponsored by Malissus: Void Dragons . Therefore, you have a lot of cards at your fingertips that gravitate around this idea. And some are downright tempting. Let's look at them.

Bad Luck .- Interested in adding removal First to your deck? So this two-cost spell is always an option to consider. Simply select two creatures to give them the following Afterlife effect: "destroy all creatures with this Afterlife effect." Are you starting to glimpse the possibilities? By killing one creature you can get rid of another... do I think I see a malicious smile on your face? If not, it will be when you start using it.
Blackfire Fledging .- The stats of this two-cost Dragon are not bad at all, it is a 3/2, but the differential factor is marked by its Afterlife effect, which is not to be taken lightly: it deals 3 damage to both the weakest enemy creature and your opponent's god. Now start considering the possibilities of activating it repeatedly, either when it's on the board or from the Void, and let your imagination run wild.
Tarken, Depths Caller When I write these lines, Tarken does not play an important role in the meta, but I cannot fail to include this Legendary creature in the top 3 for its future potential. It is a Dragon with stats of 4/8 for six mana, which has the following effect: "at the end of your turn, activate the afterlife effect of your creatures twice". The possibilities it offers are immeasurable.
In case you've been left wanting more, here are a few more cards worth keeping track of: Omenseed; Burial Wyrm; Abyssal-born Draka; Incineration.
Top three Deception cards in Tides of Fate
Admiral Mayday is the card that makes possible an archetype of its own, which plays with the mechanic of returning your own creatures to your hand to activate certain effects over and over again. Its prominence is indisputable, although you will also find cards that are all-terrain and some that come to reinforce the archetype Void Steal . The truth is that this selection has been difficult, because This expansion is full of formidable cards for this domain .

Admiral Mayday How can a Legendary creature 1/1 cost three bring an archetype to life in Gods Unchained? Well, very easy, it can do so thanks to its ability to cause recurring damage. Through its Battlecry, specifically which consists of inflicting one point of damage, repeating this effect every time it is played again. That is, the second time is 3 points of damage, 4 the third, and so on. This, which may seem harmless on paper, proves lethal with the right tools to play Mayday over and over again... and Ludia puts those resources at your disposal. Add to that synergies with the Guild tribe, and it's not something to be taken lightly.
Digby, The Emerald Peril Legendary Guild creature, six mana and lush art to shape a bird 3/2 with an intriguing Roar effect: summon Captain Thibbs, as long as it's not already on the board. And what the hell is Captain Thibbs doing, you ask? This is a four-cost, 6/4 stat-based Guild creature that when it attacks and survives sends the weakest creature on the board (either side of the board) into your hand. A typical card that can win games on its own in certain game formats (especially limited ones, such as Sealed).

Fighting Fair Hunting Trap is an iconic Deception card that deals damage to a creature equal to its strength. Well, Fighting Fair is Hunting Trap on steroids. This is a three-cost spell with the same effect I just described... but with Manasurge five activated allows you to repeat (i.e., apply it twice to the same creature or to two different creatures).
More recommended cards? No doubt! For example: Crooked Quartermaster; Illusionist Outlaw; Scavenger Impling; Shore Leave; Tendrils of Dread.
Top three Light cards in Tides of Fate
This expansion does not bring a loaf of bread under its arm, but it does bring a New archetype for Light. An archetype hated by many, but that we cannot ignore and that has a Legendary relic as its cornerstone. Let's take a look.

Blade of the Creator .- This Legendary relic of variable cost leaves no one indifferent. Variable cost, you said? Yes, you read that right. Its cost can be five, if your deck includes cards that do not belong to this domain, or zero (and always come out in the mulligan ) otherwise. This is, to say the least, curious, don't you think? And I'm sure you're wondering what this special relic is for... Well, I'll clear you up for doubts: it sets your god's maximum health to 99 (note, the maximum health, it's not that his health is immediately increased to that figure). Shocking, to say the least, and crucial to the archetype Heal Light .
Tidal Prayer Cards that act as "tutors" (i.e., that serve to draw a particular type of card) are always powerful. This spell is a guardian that allows you to activate a "delve" effect for just one mana to steal one of the spells you have in your deck. But this is not all. If you also activate its Manasurge 4 effect, it will reduce the cost of the spell you draw by one mana. Here's a handy spell for any Light archetype, from Control to Aggro.
Surgelight .-Spell Souless of two costs that has the effect of healing any character worth 4. The key is in its Manasurge 5 effect, which once activated will give you a new copy of Surgelight when you use it.
If you still want more, here are a few suggestions: Prophet of Progress; Inspired Simulacrum; Wave Breaker; Shimmering Spire.
Top three Magic cards in Tides of Fate
Tides of Fate significantly reinforces the tribal synergies of Tides of Fate decks. Atlanteans , so almost all of the featured cards are relevant for these purposes.

Arrandion, Ancient Leykeeper In case you're looking for a winning condition for your Magic deck, this 8-cost, 5/12-stat Legendary Dragon is an option to consider very seriously. After all, his Spell Bost of 5 is no small thing and its effect Roar , which consists of generating a new spell by Delve neither. However, the key is in its Manasurge 9 effect: for a turn it reduces the cost of all spells in your hand to zero. Now imagine what can happen if there are a few spells in your hand that allow you to deal direct damage to your opponent's god. Having said that, I think it is not necessary to add anything else.
Francesca, Surging Signal This four-cost, 5/4 stat Atlantean is a Legendary card that is worth its weight in gold in any aggressive deck that relies on tribal synergies, as when you manage to activate its Battlecry effect you will summon Project R.I.S.E. But let's take it step by step. To activate its Roar effect you need to have four Atlanteans on the board. When you play Francesca it will apply obliterate to those four creatures, but in exchange Project R.I.S.E. will enter the scene. This creature, which can only be summoned in this way, would cost seven mana and the following characteristics: 15/15 stats, Frontline and Godblitz. To top it off, every time he attacks a creature and destroys it he can make another attack. Devastating.

Atlant Raptor .- Atlantean of two cost and 2/3 stats with the following effect Roar : "If the card on top of your deck is an Atlantean, deal 2 damage" (to any character, that's right). Two points of extra damage always come in handy, don't you think?
Extras: Undertow Striker; Enduring Archive; Excavations Analyst; Sampler Archive; Atlant Forager.
Top three Nature cards in Tides of Fate
Tides of Fate brings Strong emotions for Nature, get ready.

Xansiddion, Waveruler .- Here is a Legendary creature that combines perfectly with any card that allows you to regenerate mana to play several cards in the same turn, with Vasek Isle as the first reference. Xansiddion is a Dragon Hidden with a cost of seven and stats of 6/6. Its Manasurge 8 effect swaps your divine power for Primal Tide. This is zero-cost divine power that consists of the following: apply +1/+1 to your Wild creatures for each card you played that turn.
Shredder, The Hunter - Legendary Wild creature with a cost of six and stats 7/6. It has Blitz and every time it attacks and destroys an enemy creature it distributes its stats randomly among the creatures you have in your hand.
Blood in the Water Used wisely, this three-cost spell can be very effective in clearing the board of enemy creatures. Its "basic" effect is that all your creatures attack the enemy creature you select; however, the real fun comes when you activate its Manasurge 5 effect, since in that case not only do your creatures attack the chosen creature, but all the creatures on the board do. This is a very useful tool for playing Control.
Other cards to consider: Food Chain; Landcaller Captain; Drag Down; Inkcloud Giant; Undersea Spellwyrm; Swallow Whole.
Top three War cards in Tides of Fate
The Dragons they enjoy a special prominence in terms of the cards that Tides of Fate brings to this domain, without forgetting Blunt spells .

Draka Gatherer .- Any card with the ability to generate infinite value is a card to be taken into consideration. If, in addition, it boasts tribal synergies (Dragon) and enjoys good statistics (4/5) in relation to its cost (five), even more so. Admittedly, its stats are a bit below average for a card of its cost, but its effect more than makes up for it: the first time a card is destroyed per turn, it adds a Draconite Shard to your hand. At this point there is no choice but to explain what a Draconite Shard is, of course. This is a 1-cost spell that allows you to add a Dragon to your hand via Delve ; when his Manasurge 8 effect is active, he doesn't add it to your hand, but summons it directly.
Gemfused Strike .- Dealing damage and drawing cards? Sounds good, I think, and that's what this four-cost spell allows you to do. To be exact, this spell deals 3 damage to an enemy creature; if it destroys it, you select by Delve one of the spells in your deck and you draw it. But that's not all... with its Manasurge 6 effect activated, you repeat its effect.
Claw and Fang .- This one-cost spell with Leech It has the effect of dealing 2 damage to any character. If its Manasurge 6 effect is activated, it then deals an additional point of damage.
More cards not to be missed: Retaliation, Salvator, Ceaseless Impact; Alborax, Soaring Flame; Bloodprice.
