What is your personal balance of 2024 in Gods Unchained?

Once again, the time has come to look back to take stock of what happened in the year that has just ended. Sports results

The year 2024 has been one of the least active periods in the competitive field, but tournaments with tradition such as Superb Owl (organized by Fakemews) have been held, new tournaments such as League of Dreams (Yateszey) or Roulette (Team HAT) have been started and new quasi-official tournaments promoted by the Gods Unchained team (such as Formats: Flashback Genesis Tournament , with the assistance of the GUStakes team).

Let's hope that 2025 will be the year that the game's API is reprogrammed , so as to ensure the confidentiality of the players (and thus the integrity of the competitions) and the relaunch of the e-Sports of Gods Unchained. In that case, I will try to stay more active, as far as I can

I have to admit that in the last stretch of 2025 I haven't been so motivated to stay at Mythic as in the past, due to three circumstances:

1. The existing meta in Ranked Constructed mode.
2. The availability of alternative game formats.
3. Changes in the system of Play&Earn daily. We will have to delve into this a little later.

My win rate remains constant , total consistency. To tell you the truth, I'm not sure if that's good... I guess it should get better with practice. But come on, I'm not complaining.

Economic results

Our starting point is that one of the peculiarities of a web3 game like Gods Unchained, which has a Play&Earn system, is that it has a Economic dimension that we should not overlook.

This year, and after Bryn Welch took the reins of the project, Significant changes have been introduced that make betting on the use of high-quality cards ( shiny ) makes sense , as long as this does not adversely affect competitive performance. This means that The value of high-quality cards has been increased (especially of the most popular cards), but the market still shows no signs of recovery. This is completely normal, considering that no growth is taking place and that there are, at the moment, no clear incentives for collecting.

In my case, the use of decks with high-quality cards and the availability of game formats with a fragment multiplier is helping me to try to maximize my Play&Earn . Will the future bring improvements in the value of collections? We will have to wait and see what happens... At the moment, I've started doing some tests as a letter landlord. It is, of course, curious.

As you know Each player has different goals . When it comes to your access to Gods Unchained cards, your goal may be to expand your collection without investing any money, or you may have three or four competitive decks to try to maximize rewards. In my case, I aspire to make my collection as complete as possible.

Gods Unchained Community and "Ecosystem"

The year 2024 has not been without its ups and downs in the Gods Unchained universe. If you have any interest in reviewing the main milestones, I recommend reading the article “Gods Unchained Year in Review: Key Events That Shaped 2024” published by Agrante (and in the recording of my December 19 live stream You will find a In-depth analysis of the progress that has taken place in Gods Unchained throughout this year).

As for the Player volume , is stabilized at around 3,700 active players per day (I calculate, at a glance, around 12,000 monthly active players). I don't expect growth in this area until the Gods Unchained team starts to make efforts to attract players, and I think that will not happen until they consider that the game is at a clearer point of maturity (to start with, new progression system for players, as well as promotion and decommissioning of rank).

The Council of Mortals it has been in limbo since the departure of Eclipse from the Gods Unchained team and it does not seem that resuming it is a priority for those responsible for the game at the moment, so everything indicates that it will continue in hibernation for a good season. And if he returns, it will be with changes.

As for my activity as a Content Creator , I remain faithful to my live broadcasts every Tuesday and Thursday at 7:15 p.m. (mainland Spain time), going from more than 200 followers to Twitch to close to 300, and from more than 160 to (narrowly) over 200 in You Tube . I have published 20 articles on this website (if I had to highlight one of them, it would be "Towards a robust economic model in Gods Unchained | July 2024" ). I've formally begun working with the Gods Unchained team, and while the Official Content Creator Program is on hold right now, I'm confident that I can continue to do so through 2025.

Last but not least, it should be mentioned that, with the support of the community, it was born The Conclave . The first edition of this face-to-face meeting of Gods Unchained players in Spain took place on April 13 and it is expected that the next edition will be held on March 22, also in Madrid.

What are your goals in Gods Unchained for 2025?

As I say every year, in order to improve it is essential to set goals and measure their degree of compliance (my recommendation is that they are goals SMART ). Consequently... What are your goals for 2025?

In my case , and taking as a starting point that I play Gods Unchained for fun, I aspire to the following.

Sports results

On a sporting level, I aspire to Compete in the most important official and unofficial tournaments , with the main objective of improving my level as a player.

Monitoring : the last day of each month.

Economic results

I'll continue to have as Objectives :

• Achieve a minimum of 5 wins in the Play & Earn daily.
• Reach 10 wins each Weekend Ranked in Mythic (more difficult than the previous point, but not entirely unattainable).
• I will analyze the possible interest of resuming the strike .

Monitoring : the last day of each month.

Card Collection

I want to get a complete collection of each new expansion (By "complete collection" I mean one copy of each Legendary card and two copies of cards with other rarities.) If it can be with some cards shiny , better than better.

Gods Unchained Community and "Ecosystem"

My goal will continue to be contribute to the development of a healthy community, in which we all feel welcome and that it fosters our growth as players (and, for that matter, as people).
